Description
Kim Sungyong, Artistic Director of the Korea National Contemporary Dance Company, presented Init in 2024 as the first work of the DMAU(Dance Makes Asia become the Universe) project, based on his vision of expanding exchanges within Asian dance and leading the global contemporary dance scene. This piece embodies the artistic director Kim's dance philosophy to explore the paradoxical concepts of "complexity within simplicity," "depth within repetition" and the "coexistence of the unconscious and conscious."
